Although designs were basic and functional, Inca art was considered to be advanced in quality and technique. Pottery was crafted of fine materials, finished and polished with great care. Textiles which were bright and colorful, were woven from llama and alpaca wool. Jewelry was made from silver, gold and gemstones.
